Sunday Stash

Just for fun, here's some things I've stashed in the last month.  Most were with the gift certificates I got for my birthday.

A layer cake and some larger cuts of an older Riley Blake Line called Vintage Baby.  I knew these would be perfect for the doll blanket and cradle bedding I need to sew up for the littlest Lady for Christmas.  Plus, I LOVE that stripe!  Isn't this a sweet line?

I got this for about $13 on Small Business Saturday.  AmEx was doing a $10 rebate for shopping at a registered store.  Green Fairy Quilts happened to be registered with them.

Who doesn't love Sidewalks?  This bundle mostly came from Uberstitch on Etsy during their Black Friday Sale.    I love that red floral.  Nothing in mind for this, just stashing.  Plus it blends really well with Vintage Baby.

Some random cuts, also from Uberstitch.  I think you can get a yard of those tossed apples for $2.40 right now.  I must be the only person who thinks they are cute.

When my LQS had a 50% off coupon for Black Friday, I couldn't resist buying a few yards of this gorgeous Honey Honey print.  I've had my eye on it for a while because I want to try making a nice full skirt for one of my girlies.  I had to buy some coordinating FQ's because you KNOW there will be scraps, and I NEED something that matches them so they don't go to waste.

I won four Botanics charm packs from Pink Castle Fabrics on Diary of a quilter!  They are so gorgeous in person.

Just yesterday I picked up these vintage linens for a song from a local boutiquey vintagey shop that I love.  At least two are destined for bags.  The lotus was hand made- that satin stitch on the edge is perfectly imperfect.

And finally, this adorable foxy ring showed up in my mailbox as a surprise from Amanda at What The Bobbin.  She won our first giveaway and sent this little guy as a thank you.  Thanks Amanda, that was such a fun surprise!  Isn't he darling?  I had to fight off my twelve year old to keep it on my finger.

Anyone else been buying?  Jenni, I KNOW you bought those Atsuko Matsuyama deer from Simply Sweet.  Am I right?  I'm waiting till after Christmas...

XOXO- Pinspot

  2. Oh Sidewalks! I really need to get some of that. Love that you are "stashing", makes me feel better about my compulsion. I also need to post my stashings/winnings....
