WIP

Ok, I guess we really are going to do this.
1.  S is for stitch boy quilt. I am almost finished with the embroidery, it has been so much fun I am going to start the girl quilt right away.
2.  The quilt top, backing and binding for Joyce's cancer fundraiser
3.  The heather Ross quilt that has taught me to never again do small piecing
4.  My pile'o'fabric quilt along
5. HST's that are without a plan( I would love your input)
6. Lots of pinwheels
7.  The first quilt top I ever pieced before Kirsten was born.  Most of the fabrics I had used to  make clothes for the girls. They are not all cotton.  I knew nothing about quilting then. The blue and the purple don't match but I will never take this apart.
8. The first year we lived in mesa I did not work and that is when I got the quilting bug. I went to EVERY quilting store within a 40 mile radius. I made this pattern and then searched for fabric.  Now I can see soooooo many problems with my plan, but I learned a TON!
9.  The beginnings of Heathers quilt, she is not sold on the h pattern. She is more of a modern quilt girl, who knew.  She wants to be a big part of this quilt, sewing and cutting and all!
10. And last but certainly not least: hexagons.
11. Of course these are only the quilts that I have actually done work on.  I have a 100 more in my head and some on paper with ALL the fabric just waiting to be cut.
Your next jenn!

P.S. I am sorry I can't figure out the picture thing.  They don't even post in the order I take them

  1. Holy cow, the pieces on that old purple WIP in the top picture are TINY!
The stitch quilt is to-die-for. But the picture quality is terrible. Take better pictures so We can tell how cute it is. ;)
When is Joyce's quilt due? Do I have time to throw something together?
I die over the heather ross prints! Where did you find all those and how much did you have to pay? Can you hardly wait for her line for Windham?
You're hexies are really coming along! So much work...!
Now that Heather has Pinterest on her phone, maybe she'll find a quilt pattern she loves. I'm surprised she's no into the H's.
What about sewing your HST's into hourglasses? They're big enough for it.
The sweet tiny floral baby quilt top is very vintagey. Is that the one you made when you made before Kirsten? Back it with some flannel, tie it, and put it away for her baby girl.

    3. Got it, I'm going to see what I can whip up. I think a baby blanket would sell better than that starburst quilt. If the minky sewing goes well, I'll probably do that. People love that stuff.

    4. I got the Heather Ross fabrics from etsy and ebay. I only bought little pieces so I wasn't paying more than $8 for any piece. I collected them over several months. I am sure I paid WAYYYYY to much for them, but oh my are they cute!

  2. Okay, I've had pneumonia for the past two weeks and am only on day 4 of my 15 day round of antibiotics, so you'll have to bear with me. As in, there's not going to be a post this week. I'm also flaring up with my lupus AND ran out of my thyroid MEDS while I was super sick, so still trying to get me energy back. But don't worry, I'll make it I to a story and you'll get to read about.it. Aren't you excited? ;)

    1. Wow, what a horrible spring you're having! Jenn, I wish I could do something to help you. I hope Brian is taking care of you. If he's not, give him a knuckle sandwich from me.

    1. No seizures, just fatigue, rashes, memory issues, blah, blah, blah. The other fun stuff. And Brian has actually been a great help this time!
