Chevron Trails-A Finish

I finished Bubba's Chevron Trails Quilt last night! Yay! One baby quilt down, at least 5 to go (all family). I really should make more than that, since I know so many people having babies, but...I'm just not sure if I feel like it right now. It may or may not have something to do with the fact that my husband announced a few months ago (from a very public place) that we are absolutely done having kids. Not sure if I've come to terms with that quite yet. In any case, this one is finished even if I may or may not be!

Chevron Trails

I used some long-forgotten Kona gray
Indian Summer prints (Woodland, Native Band, and Menagerie)
Put a Lid on It print-Mod Prints (Michael Miller)
Lizzy House-Constellations-Twinkle Twinkle
AGF Urban Mod-Cubisme
A Kona yellow
The binding is the yellow Put a Lid on It
And the backing is a Tula Pink Prince Charming print and a flannel I just wanted to get rid of...

Forgot to measure it, but it's just bigger than a baby quilt.

And you can't really see it, but I quilted it in yellow. I love yellow!

Yeah...I know it doesn't really go, but I did it anyway.... I really wanted to get rid of that flannel, I'm telling you!!

And Kevin "Bubba" thought it was "Bad*$#" so that's good. As long as he liked it!

  1. This is a great pattern, it turned out perfect! I love gray and yellow and that binding is awesome! I am sorry about the baby thing, it really is something you and Brian should discuss in private.

    1. Hahahaha! Yeah, I'm over it. No more. Of course, ask me after school'd been in session for a month and I may feel differently....

  2. I know I posted a comment here already, I think bloglovin is an unreliable vehicle for posting comments. I miss google reader.

Anyway. I REALLY love this quilt! It looks a little like bike tire tread, so I think the backing is fine.

And Brian can be such a booger.
