Let's just get this out of the way now. I am a mediocre quilter and a horrible photographer, like I really don't care about lighting, staging, whatever else is supposed to happen. That being said...I do take a million of them. Yep (I AM grinning, by the way).
So I started this as a baby quilt for my brother's baby, except that I decided I loved it so much, I wanted to keep it for my own bed (cause I'm awesome like that, plus they ended up having a girl). The problem is...I have a queen and this, at most, will fit a full, and that's pushing it. I've since ripped it down to a few rows of 3 strips each, but if you look closely, there's half blocks on the ends of every other row. So to make it big enough to fit my queen bed, I really have to take the whole thing apart. I don't want to do that.... Is there any other way that I can stay the same size I've already sewed, but maybe add borders?? Or add blocks going the other direction? Would that be too busy? At the end of the day though, I want to be happy with it, so if the only way to make it look good is to rip the dang thing completely apart, I will. Dang it....
I feel like we've already talked about this. I think adding a border would totally work.
